About Us
Our Story
GetOpen was founded in 2012 as a spin-off of BitControl, a leading service provider in automation software and remote control systems for water supply, sewerage, and wastewater treatment plants.
The vision that drove BitControl’s partners to establish GetOpen was the need for specialized expertise in developing digital tools for the continuous analysis of time series data generated by remote control systems, specifically applied to the operational management of water infrastructure.
Partnership with Deltares
Since 2015, GetOpen has partnered with Deltares (Netherlands) as its primary technology provider for the implementation of its solutions, including:
- Delft-FEWS: the core platform underlying all GetOpen solutions.
- RTC-Tools: optimization of water system management.
- Ribasim: management simulation for river basins.
The Team
GetOpen is a highly innovative micro-enterprise with a team of hydraulic and environmental engineers specialized in the use of digital technologies for the operational management of integrated water service infrastructure.
